Your wedding is one of the most special days in your life, and with Bestside Photography you can capture it for years to come.
We will invite you to a free no obligation meeting, where we you can share your plans with us, and view some sample albums. We feel that this is important for several reasons - you spend a lot of your wedding day with your photographer, so you need to get on with them, and seeing albums gives a much better idea of qualith than web images.
Paul, the man behind the lens, is an established photographer in regular demand to photograph weddings across York, Harrogate and the rest of Yorkshire. Bestside has worked at weddings at most wedding venues in the region.
Paul’s excellence has been recognised with a qualification from the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photography (SWPP). He also has a diploma in Professional Photography and is currently studying towards a BA.
We believe your wedding should be just that, your wedding and not a photoshoot. Bestside Photography specialises in a mix of reportage and posed contemporary photography, both discreetly capturing the key moments as they unfold and also taking those essential wedding day photographs for you to treasure forever.
Above all, Paul is relaxed, but also understands how to direct both the bridal couple and their guests to achieve a wonderful mix of dramatic, contemporary, romantic and stylish pictures.
We can also provide an assistant, who not only helps to achieve fantastic photos, but help to keep the day running smoothly, and the bride looking gorgeous. Should you require a second photographer to attend, we can arrange for a trusted professional to work alongside Paul.
After your ceremony, we shoot any group shots required, then whisk you away to capture beautiful images of you together, both inside your chosen venue and outside in it’s grounds using a mix of natural light, video lights and flash. We will then merge into the background once again, allowing you to enjoy your day.
If you choose to hire a special car for your special day, it may be possible to move to a quieter location to shoot you with the car, and give you some relaxation time.
All couples are offered an initial consultation to discuss your individual needs and are also invited to a pre-wedding shoot. This can be at home, at our studio, or a location of your choosing. The perfect opportunity for us to get to know each other before the big day, the session is charged at our usual portrait rate, but then deducted from the overall wedding photography cost when you progress with your wedding photography booking. After you book your wedding with us, if you wish to have a pre-wedding shoot at our studio in York, this will be free of charge.
